HaloBags ("we," "us") shares this policy so you know exactly what happens to the information you give us through the Request Bags and Contact forms on halobags.org.
Information we collect
When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you type in: your name, phone number and/or email, your neighborhood or community name, and anything else you add (like estimated bag quantity or notes). We don't ask for a street address, and we don't collect anything from children directly — our forms are for the adult organizing bags for their street or neighborhood.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your request, coordinate bag delivery, and keep track of one distributor per street or area. If you asked a question through the Contact form, we use it to get back to you.
Who sees it
Your submission goes to the HaloBags team. This site is built and hosted by KORE Sites, which stores form submissions securely and receives a copy of each one as part of running the site's request pipeline — the same way any website host or form provider would. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, and we don't share it outside of what's needed to respond to you and run this site.
Spam & security
Our forms use a hidden spam trap and Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot-detection widget, to keep automated spam out of our inbox and off our servers. Turnstile may process some technical information about your browser as part of that check — see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details. We also use Cloudflare's privacy-friendly web analytics to see how many people visit the site; it doesn't use tracking cookies or follow you across other websites.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as reasonably needed to fulfill your bag request or respond to your message, and for basic recordkeeping afterward. If you'd like us to delete it sooner, just ask (see below).
Your choices
At any time, you can ask us to show you what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Reach out through the Contact page or email us directly, and we'll take care of it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
